Giving information, the Army’s Chinar Corps has said that based on special intelligence inputs about the presence of terrorists, the Indian Army launched a joint operation in Kulgam. The soldiers observed suspicious activity. The terrorists opened indiscriminate firing, in response to which the soldiers retaliated effectively.

Two months ago on October 28, security forces killed 3 terrorists in Akhnoor area of Jammu. Then the terrorists ambushed the army convoy, after which the security forces started an operation in the area. During this operation, three terrorists were killed. Weapons and ammunition were found from the killed terrorists.

Officials had said that when an army ambulance was passing through the village, some bullets were heard in the village, which were fired on the army vehicle.
After this, the army personnel along with the police cordoned off the village and surrounding areas and launched an operation to trace and neutralize the terrorists who had infiltrated from across the border, in which three terrorists were killed.
